How can I determine what fees may be imposed on gift cards?
Federal law requires that certain fees, such as service fees, be disclosed on the card itself. The issuer may also disclose fees through other means, such as card packaging, related pages on the bank's website, or accompanying documentation (e.g., terms and conditions).
